How do I book a field trip?

You can book online or email events@amberbrookefarms.com. Please include your intended date, number of students, teachers, chaperones, and desired field trip type.

What dates are available for field trips?

Field trips are available Tuesday through Friday from August through May, with 2–3 hour slots between 9 AM and 2 PM.

What counties are you an approved vendor for?

Amber Brooke Farms is approved for Lake, Orange, Volusia, and Marion counties.

Are teachers free?

Yes! Teachers are always free for school field trips.

What is the minimum group size?

Field trip groups must have a minimum of 30 children.

Do you accept tax exempt status?

Yes. Tax exempt and nonprofit schools are welcome. Please include your tax exempt form when contacting us.

Is the farm ADA accessible?

We have accessible restrooms and wide grassy lanes between many U-Pick crops. Please note that some farm areas are grass, dirt, or sandy surfaces.

Do you offer refunds?

If your scheduled trip is affected by weather or your class is unable to attend, you may reschedule for another available date. Due to preparation and staffing, refunds are not offered for cancellations or no-shows.

→ Sunflower Express Farm Tour

Hop aboard our tractor-pulled wagon for a guided tour of the farm. Along the way, students will learn about the crops we grow, sustainable farming practices, and what it means to care for the land.

→ Plant Your Own Sunflower

Dig in and get your hands dirty! Each student will plant a sunflower seed to take home—an opportunity to talk about soil, sunlight, growth, and patience.

After a morning of learning, it’s time to recharge! Enjoy a packed lunch and explore our farm fun zones including jump pads, sand diggers, playgrounds, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can book a field trip by emailing us at events@amberbrookefarms.com. When inquiring, please include the date of intended field trip, number of students, teachers, chaperones, and desired type of field trip. 

We host field trips throughout the year. We are available to do field trips Tueadays-Fridays from September-May.

We are approved for the following counties: Lake, Orange, Volusia, and Marion. 

We have handicapped-accessible restrooms. Our farms are mostly grass and we have wide grassy lanes between our U-Pick crops for easy access by wheelchair. Our shops have concrete floors, and we have paved walkways between our major buildings at some of our farms. Please note that some areas on the farm are sandy and might be difficult for a wheelchair to pass through.

Yes! Teachers do not incur an additional fee to attend the field trip.

We require field trip groups have a minimum of 30 children. 

Yes, we will accept tax exempt and non profit schools to do field trips. When contacting us, please include your taxt exempt form.

We allow all age groups to book a field trip. 

We suggest wearing closed-toe shoes, a hat and/or sunscreen, and cool, comfortable clothing. We’ll provide you with containers to pick blueberries, strawberries, and peaches. At checkout, we will provide you with clamshells to take your fruit home in. We’ll also provide scissors for cutting flowers and bags to transport them home.

We understand that planning field trips can sometimes be challenging due to unexpected circumstances.
If your scheduled trip is affected by weather or your class is unable to attend, you are welcome to reschedule for another available date. However, due to the preparation and staffing involved in each visit, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
