Join us for a hands-on educational day where students will explore tractors, learn how farm equipment works, plant sweet corn, and enjoy outdoor farm fun.
Step Up Approved
Amber Brooke Farms is an approved Step Up For Students provider. Eligible homeschool families may use scholarship funds toward admission for our educational Homeschool Days.
About Tractor Day
Tractor Day gives students an up-close look at the equipment used around Amber Brooke Farms. Families will rotate through educational stations focused on tractors, farming equipment, planting, and the daily work that keeps a farm running.
Tractor Day Schedule
9:30 AM–10:15 AM | Check-In & Registration
- Guest check-in
- Waiver verification, if needed
- Families receive wristbands and activity materials
- Free time until the welcome begins
10:30 AM–10:50 AM | Welcome & Farm Overview
Location: Upper Pole Barn

- Review the day’s schedule and station rotations
- Farm rules and safety information
- Restroom locations and important announcements
11:00 AM–12:00 PM | Learning Station Rotations
Families will rotate through the day’s hands-on learning activities.
Tractor Discovery Station
Learn about the different types of tractors used around the farm and how each one has a unique job.
John Deere Equipment Station
Explore our full-size John Deere tractor and attached implement while learning what the attachment is used for, how it works, and why it is important in farming.
Sunflower Express Farm Tour
Take a guided ride around the farm and learn more about our crops, fields, and daily farm operations.
Plant Your Own Sweet Corn
Complete a hands-on planting activity and learn what sweet corn needs to begin growing.
12:00 PM–2:00 PM | Lunch & Farm Fun
After the stations conclude, enjoy the rest of your visit around the farm.
- Bring a picnic lunch or purchase food from our Food Truck, which will be open during lunch.
- Enjoy free play on the farm attractions.
- Pick flowers through our U-Pick experience, available for an additional purchase.
- Shop for farm merchandise and gifts in our Farm Market.
Important Information
- Please arrive during the designated check-in window.
- Children must remain supervised by a parent or guardian.
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended for farm activities.
- Activities may change due to weather, crops, equipment availability, or farm conditions.
- Food, merchandise, and U-Pick purchases are not included unless otherwise stated.
